Brokenhead Ojibway Nation is looking for a motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Manager for the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Entertainment Centre. The Manager will develop and implement business plans, manage staff and daily operations, ensure high-quality customer service, and maintain accurate records of money and inventory. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with gaming, tobacco, and taxation regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate all site staff, including gaming, security, and janitorial teams.
  • Oversee daily operations such as maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Implement security measures to prevent fraud and ensure gaming integrity.
  • Complete all financial reporting, including revenue tracking and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on-site performance, customer engagement, and building issues.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new staff.
  • Support staff in providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage escalated customer service and operational issues.
  • Provide updates on trends, new machines, and technological advancements.
  • Promote responsible gaming with support materials and programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO, including report writing and special projects.

Experience and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or management is preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong skills in revenue tracking, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations, security measures, and responsible gaming practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information and pass a Criminal Record Check.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid full driver’s license.
